Roselyn Kigen

Roselyn Kigen is the founder of Intentional Parenting for a Better Life. A leading Physiotherapy practice in Kenya. A Certified Mediator ,She is a Certified Coach from Life forming Leadership Coaching, She is also a Certified Trainer of Trainers (TOT) in Skillful Parenting and a member of PAN (Parenting Africa Network). She has a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from PAC University Nairobi, Post graduate Degree from the University of Leicester UK, is an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM), has an Advanced Diploma in IPM (Institute of Personal Management). She is also Associate partner at the Nisikize Therapy Clinic. Currently studying an Attachment-based Developmental Approach to the adults responsible for children parents, educators and helping professionals.at the Neufeld Institute Foundation. Vancouver Canada.

She has 2 decades of leadership experience having held various strategies position at British American Tobacco. She is married for 23 years and has 3 children.

As the founder of Intentional Parenting for a Better life she spearheads its mission to Promote and Support a Culture of Intentional Parenting, by equipping parents to cultivate a healthy, life long relationship with each other and their children.

Roselyn has facilitated several parenting classes for the last 11 years as a lead facilitator at Mavuno Church Hill City and as an Understudy at Nairobi Chapel, using LEA, a parenting module for parents /caregivers of children between 0 to 10 years. She has received several awards, including the Innovator of the Year 2014 and has been nominated 2 years in a row as Resource Mobilizer during the Annual Fearless Award ceremony.

She is a Co -Author of Voice of Purpose in the Life if of a Teenager a workbook for parents with teenagers that reflects the current challenges parents of teenagers are facing. The guide comprises of stories, testimonials, and questions from parents with real life experiences.

Roselyn has also partnered with Tanari Trust and Co – Authored the Parents ROPES Training module. To date, more than 700 parents have graduated from the ParenTeen program.

She also contributed to write A Guide to Better Parenting for the Rusinga Group of Schools. This is in addition to conducting sessions for small groups for Parents, women and Couples.
